So these are the cards that we are dealt. Sometimes we get really bad cards, sometimes we get really, really good cards. Sometimes we get lucky cards, and sometimes we get powerful cards. Sometimes we hate the cards that we are dealt, and we don’t understand how did we get these cards? How come the people across the street, how come my friends, how come people on TV, they got better cards? What happened to me that I got such terrible cards?
Well, here’s the thing. From a spiritual point of view, we get to choose our cards before we get here. Sometimes we’ll go through it and say, “I want to deal with this because this is really challenging, and I want to face this because I didn’t do it in my last lifetime. And in this card is the people that I need to transform because I don’t like the way that I treated them. This is the situation that I need to grow from.” And all of these cards in The Game of Life are selected so that we can go through it to become better people, to graduate, to evolve, maybe to never be here again.
But life is a game, and we don’t understand how to play it. And so we suffer because we go, “I hate my freaking cards. Please explain to me why is this happening? Why did I pick these cards?” But we did, for our highest good. And knowing that and understanding the power that we have to choose, it brings so much transformation and so much relief and so much knowing that it’s all Divine and all set up, and all the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.
And so we can stop the spiritual fight with what comes to our front door, the cards we’re dealt. And then, without that struggle, we can heal it quicker, understand it, and be at peace and have a great, great life.
